This week in economics class we learned about weserville. We learned that weserville  is a small town with a population of 1,705 people. In class this week we held an election to elect the town planner, council, and mayor. After we held the election we broke up into groups to come up with a plan of what to do with the blue area of land in weserville. In my group we came up with the idea to build oil Riggs  After each group came up with an idea we discussed them and narrowed it down to 2 different ideas. The two final ideas were to build oil Riggs or construct a shopping center. i believe we should build oil Riggs because this will bring money and jobs to the town of weserville.

  1. I thought it was a very good way to start of Econ, both the Oil Riggs and town centre would bring money to the town, giving it a benefit, but they also both had their costs. I was part of the town centre group, but after persuasion I did go for the Oil Riggs.

  2. This was a good review and refection on this Econ class. I agree with you on the building the oil Riggs because it does seem to be the best plan also the team of oil and gas simply had a better plan on how to talk to the council about their topic.
